How Can I Be Saved?

You're Saved! Now What?

We believe that if you said the prayer of faith, and accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, we believe you are born again.
You are saved?

Welcome to the Family of God!

If you haven't already, please take a moment to let us know about your decision. We would like to send you a free Bible and some materials to help you grow in your relationship with Christ.

You have made the most important decision of your life, choosing to follow Jesus Christ. As a new believer, you can expect to have new attitudes and desires. You may need to replace some old habits and patterns with new activities that will help you to grow in your new life in Christ. Growth takes time, but it begins, right now, where you are. For starters, you need to read the Bible.

The Bible is the Word of God.

The Bible will tell you everything you need to know in order to grow in your spiritual life. We believe God speaks through His Word. You will get to know Him better and learn what pleases Him. As you obey His Word, you will grow strong and begin to see positive changes in your life.

Pray

What is prayer? Prayer is simply talking to God.

Prayer is one of the greatest privileges we have as children of God. Just think, the God of heaven and earth wants to hear from you! He wants to get to know you. He wants to have a relationship, and that takes communication. You can talk to the Lord any time and He will listen. Speak to Him; let him know your hopes, your dreams, your secrets, and how you feel.

You don't have to speak to him with big words, all that matters is that you pray with a pure and open and heart.

Find a Church To Attend

Church is very important in your spiritual growth. Fellowship with your new family of Christians will keep you spiritually active and give you much needed encouragement and support. Church provides you with instruction from God's Word and gives you the training and opportunity to use your God-given gifts and abilities. Start Living for God

A sure sign of a changed heart is the desire to live for God. What does this mean? It means that you want to please God and obey Him as best you know how. You will begin to filter your thoughts and actions through God's Word in order to become a reflection of Jesus Christ.

Share Your Faith

Good news is hard to keep to yourself! God wants you to share your new experience of faith with others. You don't have to wait until you're a pro-expert in the Bible to witness or to tell others what Christ has done in your life. You can share what you know—to your family, friends, and loved ones.

Stay Focused

Serving the Lord is not always easy. God has a plan for your life, but the enemy knows it. This is the time to discourage you from following Christ because you're a new baby in Christ. There will be times when you'll feel pressured to go back to your past or give in.

When you became a child of God, you also became an enemy of the devil; and he will try to tempt you into disobeying Christ. It isn't a sin to be tempted—even Jesus experienced temptation (see Luke 4:1–3)—but giving in to the temptation is sin. Christians will experience times of testing and trials, but God promises to be with us and give us the strength we need to get through hard times.

Finding the Right Church

One of the keys to spiritual growth is to become apart of a local church. In its biblical form, the church should provide biblically-sound teaching, genuine worship, an atmosphere in which Christians are able to use their God-given gifts and abilities, and spiritual leadership that will help keep believers accountable.

There are those who might say, "I don't need to go to church. I like to spend my time alone with God, and I don't need to be around other Christians." The reality is that no Christian can make it if he or she lives in isolation without the support of a church. You can never replace the experience and fellowship you get from attending church and being with the family of God.

In the book of Hebrews, it says, "Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some do, but encourage each other, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near" (Hebrews 10:24-25).

A healthy church meets together regularly, places a high priority on Bible study, and develops caring people who concern themselves with the well-being and spiritual development of each member.

Find Your Place

Regular fellowship and participation in the church is important.

The church that is right for you will be a place where you can grow in your love for the Lord and serve Him.

Remember, we are all sinners saved by grace, doing our best to follow God's teaching. Rely on Him to show you the way.

Remember that the model for a God-honoring church is in the Scriptures. Study God's word and pray to be led to the place He has prepared for you.

God bless you as you grow in your relationship with God!
